Matrixome, Inc. was born out of nearly two decades of research on extracellular matrices by Professor Kiyotoshi Sekiguchi. This research brought about the iMatrix’ product line, a laminin E8 fragment technology, which quickly became the gold standard ECM for 2D stem cell culture for many researchers with hundreds of publications and citations. Today, the product is used by numerous pharmaceutical companies, research institutes and clinical stem cell banks as it provides numerous advantages over conventional products and methods.
