Nuno Madeira do Ó

Nuno Madeira do Ó has had a varied career, beginning in 2008 as a Pharmacist at Farmácia da Penha. Nuno then took on a role as a Teacher’s Assistant/Junior Lecturer at the University of Algarve in the same year. In 2013, they became an Associate Scientist II at MedImmune. Nuno then moved to Novaliq GmbH in 2014 as a Senior Scientist. In 2015, they became the Head of Biopharmaceutical Development at Pion Inc. Nuno also co-founded and owned Lusificar – a Portuguese wines representative in 2011. In 2018, they took on a role as Head of International Business Development at Cell and Gene Therapy Catapult, followed by Senior International BD Manager, Senior Business Development Manager – North America, and Business Development Manager – U.S. In 2022, they became Chief Operating Officer at Quest Meat and Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder at Reflection Therapeutics.

Nuno Madeira do Ó completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Pharmacy from the University of Nottingham between 2010 and 2014. Nuno also completed an MPharm from Universidad de Sevilla between 2008 and 2009, and a BSc in Pharmacy from Universidade do Algarve between 2004 and 2008.
