Giulia graduated from Universita’ Vita-Salute San Raffaele in Milan (Italy) with a BSc/MSc in Medical Biotechnology. She then completed her PhD at University College London (UCL), where her work focussed on the development of CAR-T cell therapy for glioblastoma. She then worked at Autolus as a scientist in the Translational Team before joining the UCL CAR T programme at the CCGTT, where she leads the QC Team. The group has manufactured close to 100 CAR-T product batches and is now developing next-generation CAR-T cell products for multiple Phase 1 clinical trials.
