David Allison

David has significant breadth and depth of experience at CEO, Chair and Executive Board level gained principally in the Healthcare and Life Sciences sector, and currently CEO of TREAT-NMD. He has successfully grown businesses and delivered step change, in complex and highly regulated environments,  through strategy development and implementation, customer centricity, staff engagement, commercial leadership and use of strategic collaborations. Having operated in very different environments; from running technology or service based SMEs, through Accountable officer roles leading public sector NHS and Economic Development businesses, to reporting to Nasdaq investors as European Director of a US pharmaceutical research and manufacturing organisation, David has a skill set which balances good governance and culture development with achievement of objectives.  He has a First Class Honours degree in Physics from Heriot Watt University, is an NLP and Prince 2 practitioner, and has completed the IOD Chartered Director, MIET Chartered Engineer and NHS sponsored Yale University Global Health and Social Care Programmes.
